The upcoming film
The Time Traveler's Wife will most likely not go down as one of the greatest time travel movie of all time. In fact, it won't even be
Eric Bana's best time travel film this year. In fact, the last 15 years have weighed heavily with hilariously awful duds (
Black Knight, Kate and Leopold, The Butterfly Effect, and Deja Vu to name a few) with only a few above par flicks (
Terminator 3 and
Star Trek) sprinkled here and there. While we're not getting our hopes up about
The Time Traveler's Wife (or as we like to call it
The Notebook...in SPACE! the film does get us nostalgic about time travel films gone by. The infographic below illustrates the quasi-recent history of time travel films on the big screen (starting with the original version of
