Attend “The Lost Art of Inglourious Basterds” benefit this Thursday for awesome art and a great cause!
A roster of amazing artists are teaming up with Quentin Tarantino, SA Studios Global’s Film Marketing Division, Upper Playground, and the Weinstein Company to auction off some spectacular posters and help a direly devastating cause at “The Lost Art of
Inglourious Basterds” benefit this Thursday.
Each artist has produced their own rendition of an
Inglourious Basterds movie poster and will auction off their prints to support The American Red Cross and the Haitian Earthquake victims. These are some stunningly cool posters—of an award-winning movie from an ingenious director, for a good cause, and at an affordable price ($300 each!). Each print will be numbered and signed by Tarantino himself and sold on a first-come-first-serve basis (so come out and support Haiti, so long as you get behind me in line!).
This is a seriously awesome program, so come early and leave happy. The auction is taking place this Thursday, February 18th from 6p-9p at an awesome venue—the Upper Playground gallery in downtown L.A. (125 East 6th Street). The show will be up for 4 weeks, but the kick-off event this Thursday is unmissable—these prints are for sale in-person only and will go quickly.
Participating artists include David Choe, Sam Flores, Estevan Oriol, Grotesk, Jeremy Fish, Patrick Martinez, Alex Pardee, Dora Drimalas, Munk One, N8 Van Dyke, Rene Alamanza, Morning Breath and Skinner Davis.
