Jonah Hill and Russell Brand star in Judd Apatow's latest movie, Get Him To The Greek, the Forgetting Sarah Marshall spin-off... you're just a click away from the promising trailer
It's been a crazy few years for Judd Apatow, having directed, written and/or produced over 15 comedies since 2005, but he seems to be slowing down his output as of late, and being a little more careful about the projects he attaches his name to. The only Apatow movie planned for release this year (so far, anyway) is the
Forgetting Sarah Marshall spin-off,
Get Him to the Greek. Jason Segel is not involved in this particular flick, but it is written and directed by Forgetting Sarah Marshall director Nicholas Stoller.
The movie revolves around Russell Brand's character Aldous Snow, a British rock star who lives life to the fullest. Jonah Hill is record label lackey Aaron Greenberg (not the same guy he played in Forgetting Sarah Marshall) who is sent to deliver Snow to a concert at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles. Various hijinx ensue. Watching the first trailer for Get Him to the Greek, it doesn't seem to have the same emotional hook or quality of supporting cast as Forgetting Sarah Marshall, but I guess that's to expected for a spin-off. Judging by the cast list, it seems to rely on a lot of celebrity cameos, which could be a bad thing. Either way, I think both Brand and Hill are very watchable, and I'll definitely give this a chance. What do you think? Check out the trailer after the jump, or watch it in HD over at
